A cabinet card portrait showing a group of five people all dressed in fancy costumes. They appear to have drawn their inspiration from a broad spectrum of different centuries. The girl seated at the centre of the group is holding a mandolin or possibly a small lute.
A pencilled inscription in a period hand on the reverse of the mount reads simply ‘Hall Esq.’
