Wordsworth's cottage

A carte-de-visite showing a view of Dove Cottage at Grasmere in the Lake District. The house was William Wordsworth‘s home from 1799 to 1808.

In 1891 the Wordsworth Trust was founded in order to secure Dove Cottage for the nation.
