Charles Daly in 'A Night at the Inn'

From an album of theatrical carte-de-visite portraits compiled by the actor (later actor-manager) Charles Daly. Amongst many better known celebrities of the stage, the album contains nearly twenty portraits showing Daly himself dressed as various characters in popular successes of the day.

According to an inked inscription on the album page, this particular portrait shows Daly as the character 'Billy Boy' in A Night at the Inn. There was a much later play entitled A Night at an Inn by the Anglo-Irish playwright Lord Dunsany but that was written in the 1920s. I can find no trace of any play with this or a similar title in the nineteenth century.
