A fancy dress costume

A carte-de-visite portrait of an unidentified woman wearing a strange, bicoloured fancy dress costume. Since her outfit includes a stuffed magpie sitting on her shoulder, it's possible that her (presumably) black and white costume is supposed to echo the bird's plumage.
