William Frederick Holt Beever

A carte-de-visite portrait of William Frederick Holt Beever, identified by an inked inscription recto in the lower margin.

Born at Cowbridge in Glamorgan, William was the son of William and Hannah Beever. According to the 1871 census, his father was a 'Landowner and Unbeneficed Clergyman'.

At the time of the 1911 census, William Frederick Holt Beever was living at West Clayton in Yorkshire with his wife Lucie Evelyn Beever. He gave 'Land Agent' as his profession. The household included a ladies' maid, two parlour maids, a housemaid, and a kitchen maid.

William Frederick Holt Beever died in 1945.
