One half of a stereoview showing a policeman and pedestrians walking past a mounted trooper of the Household Cavalry outside Horse Guards, the large building in the Palladian style between Whitehall and Horse Guards Parade in London. The building served as the offices of the Commander-in-Chief of the Forces until 1904.
