Viscountess Mountgarret

Born Frances Penelope Rawson in 1825, she was the daughter of Thomas Rawson. On 11 February 1844, she married Henry Edmund Butler, who succeeded to the title 13th Viscount Mountgarret two years later. The marriage produced two children.

Lady Mountgarret died on 19 October 1886, aged 61, at 77 South Audley Street in Mayfair. She left a personal estate valued at £54,925.
