Three men at Rottingdean

Three men at Rottingdean

An outdoor portrait of three casually dressed men taking the air at Rottingdean, the small fishing village along the coast from Brighton. The men are all wearing woolly jumpers and two of them have their trouser legs turned up. The jaunty angles at which they're wearing their straw boaters adds to the informality of the portrait.

Photographed by George William West of Rottingdean.
