The Trossochs Hotel

The Trossochs Hotel

A topographical carte-de-visite showing the Trossachs Hotel near Loch Achray, as it originally looked when built in 1849. The building was much enlarged in 1891.

A success when it first opened, by the end of the 20th century the hotel had fallen into serious disrepair. In 1993 it reopened as holiday apartments for tourists.

Photographed by George Washington Wilson of Aberdeen.
