A carte-de-visite portrait of the Reverend John Frewen Moor standing beside the grave of his third son, Walter Vincent Wilberforce Moor, who drowned age 10 in 1869 while away at his prep school at Twyford in Hampshire.

A pencilled inscription verso in a period hand reads 'Walter's Grave in Ampfield Churchyard.'
