Old Aberdeen Cathedral

A topographical carte-de-visite showing a boy standing amidst the tombs in the graveyard of St Machar's Cathedral in the former burgh of Old Aberdeen.

Technically, St Machar's is no longer a cathedral but rather a high kirk, as it has not been the seat of a bishop since the Reformation.

Photographed by George Washington Wilson of Aberdeen.
