Misses Mary and Evelyn Grimston

These are the daughters of the Hon Francis Sylvester Grimston, sixth and youngest son of James Grimston, 1st Earl of Verulam. From the late 1840s he was the Rector of Wakes Colne in Essex. He appears on the 1861 census living at the Rectory there with his family.

Miss Mary Grimston was born on 17 June 1849; in 1890 she married Horace George Egerton Green. She died in 1905. Miss Evelyn Horatia Grimston was born on 17 June 1853 and married Edmund Pryor. She died in 1928.
