Master Hugh Grimston and Miss Margaret Grimston

A carte-de-visite portrait of two of the children of the Hon and Rev Francis Sylvester Grimston, who from the late 1840s was the Rector of Wakes Colne in Essex. Their grandfathers were the 1st Earl of Verulam and the 1st Earl of Liverpool.

Hugh Francis Grimston was born on 11 February 1856. He died in 1932. Miss Margaret Katherine Grimston was born on 1 June 1858. She married the Hon Walter Philip Alexander in 1882 and died in 1929.
