Lady Henrietta Riddell

A carte-de-visite portrait of Lady Henrietta Riddell (1827-1867).

Born Lady Henrietta Maria Plunkett, she was the second daughter of the Earl of Fingal, of Killeen Castle, County Meath, Ireland. On 3 May 1855 she married Thomas William Charles Riddell, born 14 October 1828, the eldest son of Thomas Riddell, Esq., of Felton Park and Swinburne Castle, Northumberland. Her husband died in Barcelona on 24 May 1867. According to two other sources, Lady Riddell also died in Barcelona on 24 May 1867.

They had one child, a daughter, Mary Louise Catherine Riddell, later Mrs Edmund Stonor.
