Lady Alice Hill

A carte-de-visite portrait of Lady Alice Hill (1842-1928).

Caroline Frances née Stapleton-Cotton. On 9 October 1867 she married Thomas Taylour, the son of Thomas Taylour, 3rd Marquess of Headfort. Her husband used the courtesy title ‘Earl of Bective’ but he died a year before his father and never succeeded to the marquisate.
