Harry Plunket Greene


A cabinet card portrait of the Irish baritone Harry Plunket Greene (1865-1936), who was most famous in the formal concert and oratorio repertoire. He also made a great contribution to British musical life also by writing and lecturing upon his art, and in the field of competitions and examinations.

In later life he published a classic book on fly-fishing.
