Glasgow Cathedral

A carte-de-visite showing a view of the nave of Glasgow Cathedral. The title ‘cathedral’ is honorific, dating from the period before the Scottish Reformation. Although the building is now the home of a Church of Scotland congregation, it still retains its historic title.

Photographed by George Washington Wilson of Aberdeen.
