Duke of Teck and his sons

Duke of Teck and his sons

A carte-de-visite portrait of Prince Francis, Duke of Teck, husband of Queen Victoria's cousin, Princess Mary Adelaide of Cambridge. He is seen here with two of his three sons. Given the apparent date of the photograph, these are almost certainly Prince Adolphus (1868-1927), known as 'Dolly' within the family, and Prince Francis (1870-1910), known as 'Frank' within the family.

Photographed by William and Daniel Downey of London and Newcastle.
