Doctor A.L.W. Colomiati-Meredyth

Doctor A.L.W. Colomiati-Meredyth

A carte-de-visite portrait of Doctor A.L.W. Colomiati-Meredyth.

According to the 1861 Medical Register, Dr. Adolphus William Leodore Colomiati-Meredyth resided at 76, Margaret Street, London, and was a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. The 1871 census shows him still at the same address, and gives his age as 40, so he would have born in 1831, and therefore about 30 when this photograph was taken. He was born in London.

An 1879 London Directory lists him as 'Physician and Accoucheur' at the French Hospital, Leicester Place.

Photographed by Camille Silvy of London on 29 September 1861.
