Doña Dolores Crooke Comyn


A carte-de-visite portrait of Dolores Crooke Comyn, wife of the Spanish ambassador Don Juan Tomás Comyn y Martinez.

Born María de los Dolores Crooke y Navarrot in Málaga on 9 March 1826, she married Don Juan Tomás Comyn y Martinez. In 1863 her husband was appointed the Spanish ambassador in London. He died in Madrid on 27 December 1875. She died in Madrid on 23 March 1909.
