A cabinet card portrait of nurse holding a neonatal baby, identified verso as ‘Cecil George / one month old’. The nurse has a very interesting chatelaine hanging from her belt, filled with various ‘tools’ of her trade.

The woman standing on the right is presumably the baby’s mother.
