Blind musicians

A carte-de-visite portrait of two itinerant street musicians. One has a sign around his neck which reads: 'Born blind / have been [illegible] for years'. The other man has a sign which reads, in part, 'Stone blind'. They have been posed in the photographer's studio in the same attitudes they would have adopted when begging in the streets.

Photographed by G. and J. Hall of Wakefield.
