A carte-de-visite portrait of Achille-Félix Montaubry (1826-1898), a tenor with the Opéra-Comique.

In 1846 the French tenor Montaubry obtained the Opéra-Comique's second prize at the Conservatoire, making his début with the company that same year. In 1868 he left the Opéra-Comique to become director of the Folies-Marigny. He ended his career as a singing teacher at the Antwerp Conservatoire.
