A. J. Stewart

Identified on the album page as ‘A.J. Stewart,' this is probably Alexander John Robert Stewart of Ards. Born on 5 July 1827, he was the son of Alexander Robert Stewart and Lady Caroline née Pratt.

On 17 May 1851 he married Lady Isabella Rebecca Graham-Toler (died 1914), daughter of Hector John Graham-Toler, 2nd Earl of Norbury. The couple had eight children.

From an album probably compiled by either George Charles Pratt (1799-1866), 2nd Marquess Camden or by his son, John Charles Pratt (1840-1872), from 1866 3rd Marquess Camden.
