Frederick Robson in 'Boots at The Swan'


A carte-de-visite portrait of the actor Frederick Robson (1821-1864), seen here as the deaf waiter Jacob Earwig in Charles Selby's farce Boots at the Swan, in which he appeared at the Royal Olympic.

The production was advertised in The Times only three times: on 10 May 1859; on 6 November 1860; and on 10 November 1860.
