'The Metropolitan of Moscow'

A pencilled inscription verso in a period hand identifies him as 'The Metropolitan of Moscow'.

The photographer is Bezenberg [or Wesenberg, depending on how you transliterate the Cyrillic] of St Petersburg, identified recto on the mount in the lower margin and by his studio’s backplate on the reverse of the mount.
